Collins Stewart strengthens equities division with two senior appointments

Collins Stewart, the UK's leading independent stockbroking, corporate advisory and wealth management group, announces the strengthening of its equities division with two seniorappointments. Phillip Wale joins Collins Stewart as Head of Trading from Lehman Brothersand Harvey Robinson, formerly at ABN Amro, joins the equities team as a salesman.

Phillip is a highly experienced trader having worked in various senior positions in leading investment firms in London for 25 years. As a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers Equity division, Phillip was in charge of the portfolio electronic trading products. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Phillip worked at Cardinal Asset Management where he was Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of an equity hedge fund, Commerzbank Securities as Global Head of Trading, Knight Securities as CEO, and he spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs where he was Head of European Equity trading.

Harvey Robinson joins Collins Stewart from ABN Amro where he worked since 1998, most recently as technology specialist sales and Head of the IT Hardware Research team. Before ABN Amro, Harvey worked in specialist sales at BZW and equity sales at HSBC James Capel and UBS Philips & Drew.
