Chief Investment Officer, Canaccord Genuity Funds

I began working in the investment industry in 1994 and joined this company in 2000. In this time, I have progressed from being a Portfolio Manager, through to an Investment Director, before becoming Deputy Chief Investment Officer in 2014. In April 2022, I was promoted to Chief Investment Officer, CG Funds, taking on the investment leadership role for our award-winning range of funds.

As well as managing the CG Cautious, Balanced and Growth Funds, I have oversight of all the funds in the range. This includes the responsibility for ensuring that our CG Fund managers have the resources and support they need. I provide active support to the international sales team and take the lead on investment communication for the CG Funds, both internally and externally. I am also heavily involved with the company's wider investment process, as a member of the firm’s asset allocation, ESG and passive investment committees.

I am a passionate supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers and as a season ticket holder regularly fly to Molineux.

What does can-do mean to me:

You could call it an ethos, an approach, or an ideology. We simply call it can-do.
