Mr. Cameron is a Senior Advisor to Canaccord Genuity's Canadian investment banking group. A respected investment banking professional with more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Cameron is the former head of Canadian Mergers & Acquisitions at Credit Suisse and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to these roles, Mr. Cameron spent 17 years in the investment banking group at RBC Capital Markets. Throughout his career, he has worked on a number of high profile transactions including Petro-Canada's $43 billion merger with Suncor, Fording's $14 billion sale to Teck, Addax Petroleum's $8 billion sale to Sinopec and the sale of Alliance Atlantis to CanWest/Goldman Sachs. Mr. Cameron was a member of the faculty of the Directors Education Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors for 12 years and was awarded the ICD.D designation in 2016. Mr. Cameron holds an MBA degree from the Ivey School of Business at Western University and a Civil Engineering degree from the University of New Brunswick.
