Genevieve Eccleston is a Managing Director of Investment Banking at Canaccord Genuity, focused on the Health & Wellness sector. Genevieve also leads Canaccord Genuity’s Canadian Financial Sponsors franchise. Since joining the firm in 2013, she has successfully completed over 200 transactions totaling more than $35 billion in value, spanning IPOs, equity and debt financings, restructurings, and M&A.
Recognized for her leadership and impact, Genevieve was awarded the Trailblazer Award by Women in Capital Markets in 2024, following her Emerging Leaders Award from the same organization in 2022.
Beyond her client work, Genevieve is deeply committed to advancing diversity and supporting entrepreneurs. She chairs Canaccord Genuity's Advisory Program for Women Entrepreneurs and serves on the firm’s Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.
Genevieve holds an MBA from Cornell University and an HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Passionate about community engagement, Genevieve has served on multiple not-for-profit boards in the education, healthcare, and social services sectors.
