Canaccord Genuity Advises E-Commerce Advertising Marketplace Brandshare on its Sale to Advantage Solutions

Canaccord Genuity is pleased to announce it has advised audience engagement and sampling agency Brandshare on its sale to Advantage Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: ADV), the leading provider of outsourced sales and marketing services to consumer goods companies and retailers. Brandshare was previously a portfolio company of Aperion Management, LNC Partners, and Ocean Avenue Capital Partners. This is the second transaction Canaccord Genuity has closed successfully for Brandshare, having previously led the company’s sale to Aperion, LNC, and Ocean Avenue.
 
Brandshare is a leading provider of omnichannel brand experiences through product sampling and digital engagement. The company partners with consumer packaged goods manufacturers, retailers, and others to bring to life e-commerce, venue-based and event-based sampling; digital marketing campaigns; and consumer engagement initiatives, such as reward bags. Brandshare works with top brands and retailers to engage shoppers and measure the impact of campaigns featuring products across categories, including food and beverage, beauty, health and wellness, baby care, household products, pet care and others. The agency also works with entertainment companies to create one-of-a-kind engagement campaigns.

The company will continue to be led by its CEO and president Alan Verdun. Brandshare has approximately 50 employees and is headquartered in New York City.
