DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Together, we are stronger

Fostering diversity to create success for all

At CG, we know how important it is for everyone to feel like they belong. We also know that diverse teams create better business outcomes. Our company was built on entrepreneurship, independence, and agility.

It’s our mission to celebrate the essence of who we are and to foster a culture of inclusion where our differences are rightly seen as strengths. We are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse team where everyone is empowered to bring their authentic selves to work and to realize their full potential. We are proud to have been named a Top Employer in Canada for 2023 by the Top Employers Institute. We are pleased that our efforts to foster an inclusive, entrepreneurial, and collaborative culture have been recognized.

Making a positive impact

We know that our people, the communities in which we operate, and our business are stronger and more impactful when diverse experiences and thinking are at the table.

Diversity and Inclusion starts at the top of our organization. More than half of our independent directors are women and we are proud to have become an employer of choice for top talent in recent years.

We know that Diversity and Inclusion goes well beyond hiring a more diverse workforce. It means fostering an inclusive work environment, strengthening accountability across the organization by continuing to educate, raise awareness and provide a greater voice to the issues that are important to our workforce and our community.

Internally, we have launched a number of initiatives to help us achieve our objectives, including:

• Global Employee Networks and Committees
• Unconscious Bias and Leadership Training
• Accessibility Action Plan to ensure inclusion of persons with disabilities
• Mentorship programs
• Events and communications to recognize important cultural moments

We continue to take actions to make a positive impact for our colleagues and our communities.
