Tim is the Executive Chairman of Wealth at Canaccord Genuity Australia. Tim has more than 30 years of experience in the private wealth management, funds management, and financial markets industry, which has gained him extensive knowledge of the Australian Adviser landscape and is supporting Canaccord in executing their strategic growth goals.
Prior to joining Canaccord, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ord Minnett Holdings Ltd for 10 years. Tim was responsible for all Ord Minnett businesses throughout Australia and Hong Kong, including private wealth management, institutional equities, fixed income, and corporate finance, whilst also maintaining a Board position and being their Responsible Officer and Responsible Executive for their various entities.
Tim has held positions as a Senior Fellow of the Securities of Australasia (FINSIA), Master of the Australian Stockbrokers Association (MSAA), and Director of the Australian Stockbrokers Association. Tim also graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
