Lance Maerov is a Managing Director in Canaccord Genuity’s Technology, Media, Marketing, and Information Services (TMMIS) group of the US Investment Banking team. Lance is widely regarded as one of the most experienced deal makers and investors in the advertising, media, and marketing services industry, bringing a wealth of expertise and a proven track record to Canaccord Genuity. He joined CG in 2024 from Dinmont Ridge, a firm he founded in 2023 to focus on advising private equity and strategic investors.
Prior to founding Dinmont Ridge, Lance was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at WPP, the world’s largest advertising and marketing services company, and led its mergers, acquisitions, and investment activities across North America and Latin America. During his 20-year tenure at WPP, Lance completed many of the firm’s most strategic acquisitions and investments and served on more than 50 boards in the media, technology, and marketing services sectors.
Lance earned his MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of Vermont.
