Alex is Co-Head of Australian Equities at Canaccord Genuity. Alex joined the firm in 2012 and has led the Australian Equities business during its emergence into a leading ECM business. Prior to this, he spent many years at UBS and Moelis & Company, working across Investment Banking, Equity Research and Institutional Sales in London and Sydney. Alex has helped many ASX-listed and private companies raise capital and list on the ASX.
Alex graduated from University of Cambridge with a Masters in Engineering and also spent three years working for Bechtel Corporation in the UK.
Alex is also a supporter of the Australian tech startup community, avid kitesurfer and father.
