Peter Guidote

Peter joined Canaccord Genuity in April 2021. Prior to joining Canaccord Genuity, Peter had been at Richardson Partners Financial since 2004 as one of the founding members in the Montreal branch. 

Peter founded one of the first online shopping companies in Quebec in 1988, partnering with Bell Canada. He received the Quebec Young Entrepreneurs of the Year Award. He also founded a school for professional training that prepared hundreds of students to qualify as Certified General Accountants. After several years at CIBC Wood Gundy Private Client, Peter joined Richardson Partners Financial in 2004. He specializes in advising individuals who have been offered severance packages and creating tailor-made retirement portfolios to provide sustainable lifelong income for retirees.

A graduate of both Concordia and McGill University, Peter is also a Chartered Accountant having qualified at Price Waterhouse. He holds the titles of Investment Management Analyst from the Wharton School, Certified Financial Planner, Certified Investment Manager and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. In addition to being a licensed Portfolio Manager, Peter is one of a handful of Canadians who is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
