Gary Singh

Gary Singh began his career 40 years ago as a Security’s Analyst at Merit Investment Corporation. A year later, he became a broker, eventually rising to become Senior Partner and Senior Director of the firm. In addition to his professional and fiduciary responsibilities as a Director, Gary specialized in corporate finance and investment banking with a special focus on micro-cap and small-cap companies. Gary has been with Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management since 1996 when Merit was acquired by Canaccord.  He is a Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor.

 In addition to his industry credentials, Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Master of Art in English Literature, and a Master of Business Administration. Gary has also been active in his community as a member of various boards. He served as a member of the Governing Council of University of Toronto, the Board of Governors at Royal St. George’s College and he is still an active board member of the Eye Foundation of Canada.

 He is also an active and supportive member of the Toronto Sikh community raising awareness and funding for progressive cultural awareness.

Gary and his wife are blessed with two sons.
