Jamie Switzer

Jamie has been managing investment portfolios for over 20 years and takes great pride in working with a first class group of clients. Jamie joined Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management in 2018 after 13 years with Raymond James. Jamie flourishes in a firm that supports an entrepreneurial spirit and is proud of the team he has built and the exceptional level of service and client care they strive to provide to each family they work with. The team is focused on providing clients with advantages necessary to secure their finances and ensure that they achieve long-term personal economic growth through comprehensive planning and tax strategies. Jamie’s knowledge of the markets and practical approach to investing has helped clients effectively maneuver through some of the most severe economic downturns in history. Since the summer of 2016, Jamie has been a regular guest on the CKNW radio network.

In 2011, Jamie was honoured to be appointed to the Raymond James Canada Foundation advisory committee and continues to be gratified by the impact the foundation has had on Canadian communities. Jamie also helps raise millions of dollars with the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation golf committee as part of the board of directors and as the chair of the committee.
