Investment Director
I joined the company as part of the acquisition of Psigma Investment Management where I began my career in 2007, after graduating from the University of Reading with a BSc in human and physical geography. I initially trained as an Investment Manager in the private client division before moving to the investment team in 2009 where I helped to establish and build out the investment function for the group, working on equity research, investment strategy and fund selection. I later assumed the role Head of Fund Research and was ultimately responsible for due diligence across this firm’s long-only and alternative investment strategies. During this time l was voted Citywire’s Top 100 fund selectors for 2017, 2018 and 2019. More recently I moved back to my roots on the private client side of the business, once again managing portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities.
I am a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and a CFA Charterholder.
Location: London
A bit about me:
I love spending any spare time I have with my young family, but when there are those rare periods of relative calm, you will find me either playing or watching some form of sport.
What does can-do mean to me:
You could call it an ethos, an approach, or an ideology. We simply call it can-do.
One of the best pieces of advice I had when starting out in the industry was: whatever is going on, there is always an opportunity if you are willing to look hard enough. This is Can-do.
