Will Morley

Will Morley was appointed Managing Director and Head of Sales for Canaccord Genuity (Australia) in May 2018. Will is responsible for the broader oversight of the Australian global distribution capabilities for the firm, spanning institutional clients and teams across Asia-Pacific, North America and the UK. Will began his career with BGF Equities (acquired by Canaccord Genuity) in 2007 via a cadetship program before graduating into the Mining Equity Research Team in 2012. Will spent 3 years in equity research, pre-dominantly focusing on the battery materials sector before joining the Institutional Sales & Trading Desk in 2016. Will has extensive experience and deal execution capabilities across the Natural Resources, Healthcare, Technology and broader Industrials sectors where he has helped execute over $10 billion of new equity financings in these sectors. Will is a member of the firm's Australian Operating Committee and Leadership Team in Australia and holds numerous relationships with ASX executives, family offices and institutional funds managers globally. Will has a Bachelor of Commerce and business degrees from Deakin University and Copenhagen Business School.
