Hawkpoint is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Kiernan as a Vice Chairman.

Peter has over 25 years’ investment banking experience, most recently as a Managing Director and former Head of UK Investment Banking at Lazard.  Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at both Goldman Sachs and at UBS Warburg.

Whilst at Lazard he led a wide variety of transactions including advising Exponent Private Equity on its $520 million disposal of V.Ships, Kraft Foods on its £13.3 billion acquisition of Cadbury, and Cookson and SIG on their rights issues.

Paul Baines, Chairman of Hawkpoint, said:

“Peter brings a wealth of corporate advisory experience across a broad range of business.  His strong track record further reinforces the strength of Hawkpoint’s senior advisory capability.”

Peter Kiernan added:

“I am delighted to be joining a firm with such a high quality and trusted advisory platform. In particular, its strong European presence, combined with the reach that the broader group offers in North America and Asia, makes Hawkpoint particularly attractive.”
