Canaccord Genuity acts as Exclusive Financial Adviser to Acolad on the acquisition of global translation and transcription expert Ubiqus

Canaccord Genuity is pleased to announce that its client, Acolad (the “Company”), has strengthened its industry-leader status withthe acquisition of the language services and transcription expert Ubiqus from its management and EMZ Partners on17 March 2022.

With 30 years of experience, more than 15,000 customers globally and 550 employees, Ubiqus is expected to further enhance Acolad’s global Language Services footprint. The combined businesses is expected to offer a full suite of translation, localisation, interpreting and transcription services, in more than 300 language combinations. Ubiqus's footprint in key regions such as France, North America, the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Spain and Italy will further consolidate Acolad’s geographical reach and service deployment capability.

This is Acolad’s tenth acquisition, and the Company has now passed the symbolic threshold of 2,500 employees. With a combined turnover of 330 million euros for the year 2021, Acolad stands outas one of the worldwide leaders in the language industry.
