Denny C. Matte

Denny’s passion for investing began very early in life when his father nurtured an aptitude for mathematics and finance by giving him seed money to learn the markets. Enjoying immediate success, Denny began an investing club while studying finance at university. Soon, many of his professors, fellow students and their parents joined and learned to trust his instincts.

He began his career in the industry at Midland Doherty in 1986 as a Financial Analyst. Within a year, Denny knew that he wanted was to work directly with people, providing expertise and leadership to help them protect and develop their capital. He became an advisor and has never looked back.

Within five years, Denny established himself as one of the most respected and top-performing brokers in the country, ranking in the industry’s top one per cent. By 2001, Midland Doherty had evolved into Merrill Lynch and he was appointed to their elite group of elected Ultra High Net Worth Advisors.

Outside of Denny’s professional life, he has three passions. Spending time with his three sons, scuba diving and rowing.
