Canaccord Genuity Acts as Co-Lead and Co-Bookrunner to LNG Energy Group Corp. on C$22.5MM Private Placement of Subscription Receipts

Canaccord Genuity is pleased to announce that on August 15, 2023, LNG Energy Group Corp. (“LNG Energy” or the “Company”) successfully announced the closing of its business combination transaction acquiring Lewis Energy Colombia, Inc. (" LEC ") from Texas based, Lewis Energy Group.

Prior to the completion of the business combination, the Company closed its previously announced financing of Units for gross proceeds of approximately C$22.5 million (the “Offering”). The Offering was conducted through a private placement of subscription receipts. The Company utilized the net proceeds of the Offering to finance the business combination and for general corporate purposes.

LNG Energy is focused on natural gas production and exploration in Latin America.
