Originally from Sale, Manchester, I began working in the financial services industry in 1983. In 1987 I founded a successful multi-region independent financial planning business which was acquired by Punter Southall Financial Management in 2003. I took on the role of Operations Director and then Managing Director for the firm, before becoming CEO in 2018. When Punter Southall Wealth was established in late 2019, I took up the position of Chief Operating Officer, and took on responsibility for the overall operations of the firm. I joined Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management as part of the acquisition of Punter Southall Wealth in 2022.

A bit about me:

I have two grown-up sons and following years of weekends taken up managing and coaching various football teams, I now have time to work on my golf handicap. I am a season ticket holder at Fulham and have followed the team for many years.

What does can-do mean to me:

You could call it an ethos, an approach, or an ideology. We simply call it can-do.

Can-do to me means supporting and mentoring the people around me to maximise their potential through the knowledge and experience I have gained over the last 40 years in the industry.
